The Houston Business Journal examines ERock’s continued expansion in the data center market as demand for rapidly deployable power grows alongside AI infrastructure development. The article highlights ERock’s 470 MW agreement with Anthropic, the company’s expanding operations in Texas and other states, and its efforts to increase production capacity to support large-scale customer projects.

The article also highlights ERock’s 366 MW project with El Paso Electric supporting Meta’s data center campus. ERock CEO John Carrington noted that the onsite generation solution is expected to enable the project to come online in approximately 15 months, compared with an estimated five-year wait for grid interconnection. The project demonstrates the role bridge power can play in moving data center development forward while permanent utility infrastructure is completed.

ERock has also begun assembly operations at its Hyperion facility in Houston. Combined with its existing Titan facility, the expansion is expected to bring ERock’s annual assembly capacity to approximately 1.2 GW by the end of 2026 as the company executes a growing pipeline of data center projects.
